Sitel Opened a Centre in Belgrade, Serbia23 July 2012 by Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA)
In order to solidify its near shore offerings, Sitel, a global leader in outsourced customer care services, expanded its operations into Belgrade in November 2011. A well educated workforce, high national literacy levels and lower costs meant an attractive proposition for Sitel.
"With such a large untapped Balkans talent pool, Serbia is the perfect choice for our latest location. Potential contact centre candidates in Serbian capital not only have high standards of education, but also close cultural affinity with our North American and European customers," said Joe Doyle, Vice President, Global Marketing, Sitel.
"They have access to those same consumer products, use the same computer and social media tools as those who they're assisting from overseas. We can support a wide breadth of languages from Belgrade, which includes English, German, Italian, French and Russian, making it a highly attractive solution for our clients."
