Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN) will be part of a business delegation that will be led by the MEC for Economic Development and Tourism, Michael Mabuyakhulu. The delegation will participate in the Queensland Export Week from 17- 22 October 2011.

A number of KwaZulu-Natal based companies are interested in exploring the Queensland market in order to facilitate the entry of their products into the rest of Australia.

Trade Queensland extended an invitation to KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) to participate in the event and will host a 'Doing Business with KwaZulu-Natal' seminar where TIKZN will be given the opportunity to showcase the provincial investment.

TIKZN has recruited companies in the mining, renewable energy, logistics and tourism sectors. These companies will have the opportunity to promote their exports, expand operations in the region and encourage joint venture possibilities.

TIKZN will also increase awareness on South Africa in general, and KZN in particular, within the Queensland State through linkages between the respective governments and business leaders.
