Founded in 2012, the St. Gallen Bodensee Area (www.sgba.ch) is the official association representing the St. Gallen, Thurgau and two Appenzell cantons. The organisation promotes the region internationally and provides relocation support for the St. Gallen Bodensee Area, which is the third largest economic region in Switzerland with a catchment area covering two million people.
The St. Gallen Bodensee Area positions the region in selected markets and clusters and is involved in efforts to attract international companies to the district.
SGBA works in close collaboration with Osec, the national organisation responsible for promoting Switzerland as a business location, and with all key partners involved in the location selection process, including consulting firms, estate agents, research facilities, universities and banks.
