The American software company AppRiver is opening its European headquarters in Lupfig in Canton Aargau. AppRiver will store its data in the green.ch computing center and move into office space in Lupfig.
AppRiver was founded in April 2002 with its headquarters in Florida, USA. The company is a market leader for virus and spam protection as well as for encryption services on the internet. Thirty developers and IT support specialists will work at the new European headquarters in Lupfig in the future, serving customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Lupfig: part of the IT cluster in Canton Aargau
green.ch has played a substantial part in the successful establishment of AppRiver in Aargau. The ICT service provider with its headquarters in Brugg operates the greenDatacenter, a state-of-the-art secure computing center, in Lupfig. AppRiver will operate the entire IT infrastructure of the European headquarters at the greenDatacenter. The 'Innovation Tower' will be built directly adjacent to the greenDatacenter in the foreseeable future. After completion of the building, AppRiver will have at its disposal ultramodern office space in the immediate vicinity of the IT infrastructure here.

As the result of its consistent location strategy, Canton Aargau has advanced to third place in the annually published Credit Suisse locational quality indicator.
